This article examines the role of C-Suite executives on social media, particularly Twitter, and introduces Social Authority as a metric to measure their actual influence. While CEOs are most prevalent on Twitter, analysis of 100,000+ profiles reveals that other executive positions may wield comparable or greater social authority. The article argues that understanding C-Suite social presence is increasingly valuable for B2B sales and marketing strategies.
